Tank no.1
4.5 litres
Originally designed for a Suzuki DRZ 400. Fairly universal, fits XR, TTR etc
Most bikes with the exaust on the right.
Tank no.2
8 litres
Bigger version of no. 1.
A bit limited in models it
fits properly.
Left side-cover must be fairly flat.
Fits early KTM and most
XR`s, TTR 250 etc. Bike needs a strong sub-frame, the tank is not heavy but
the fuel is.
Tank no.3
5.8 litres
Fits almost anything.
Fuel outlet is standard on
the left but can be put on the right during manufacture if necessary.
Tank no.4
7.5 litres
Made for bikes with racks. Flat bottom has 3 studs
to bolt down as well as straps.
Fuel line can be directed to either side.
Cannot be joined into fuel injected engines.
Tank no.5
4 litres
Originally designed for Yamaha WR & YZ. Very slim and
low.
Also fits Honda CRF, Suzuki RMZ and most narrow guard models.
Tank no.6
4.2 litres
Made for the current KTM models with combined guard &
side-covers.
Also fits the earlier models OK.
